SEXY SWEAT THURSDAY

I love having my own gym! Killed it for an hour before 7am. 30 day shred and 30 minutes cardio on my treadmill.

I will NOT allow my body to keep that last 10 pounds of fat. It really wants to. The last month has been a real struggle and it had nothing to do with the holidays.

I have done this before so I am all too familiar with how my metabolism works. I know if I work at it, meaning healthy eating and steady workouts I can get a big loss then a plateau for a couple weeks, then a big loss again.

But this last 10. She’s a bitch.

Fucking Denny’s.

It’s stuff like this that made me fat in the first place. Doesn’t that look delicious? A warm chocolate cookie with ice cream and more chocolate? It’s made with real Hershey kisses too.

Hubby is home!

I picked up hubby from the airport today so could not run until after work. But I ran. It was a struggle. I am a morning runner. I like the kickstart it gives my entire day. But I ran. 

28.3 miles so far this year. 

Also hubby is home. 

Work is crazy these days. Someone quit and I am not allowed to replace him. Guess who is picking up the slack?

Did I mention my hubby is home?

My baby girl(aspiringbetty) is coming for a visit next month! Sooooo excited. It’s our birthdays(close enough) and we are going to do girl things. 

Oh yeah. Hubby is home. I’ve let him sleep for 3 hours after he was up for 28 hours straight. That’s good enough right?

I don’t like this feeling.

I took a rest day. No run this morning.
Giving my hamstrings time to heal.

I feel all stiff and tense. Lethargic with racing thoughts.

I need my processing time. I’m running tomorrow.

Hamstring help.

Calling all you runners. I have been training harder now than I ever have before. First I went from running 3 miles about 3 times a week (sporadic) to diligently running 2-3 miles 6 days a week. At first it was 30 minutes, now it is 45. I also added a workout dvd 3 times a week.

Here is my problem. There is something going on with my right leg. The hamstring has felt tight and tense for 3 days now. It isn’t actually painful. Just feels sore when I get up from my chair etc. I have stretched, hydrated and had a hot bath.

Any ideas? Please don’t tell me I’m over training. That’s not what I want to hear.

*edit - I lost 5lbs this week at my weigh in! So I do not want to stop.
